Santo Domingo, R.D. – Political leader Andy Morales formalized this Friday the registration of his candidacy for the Political Directorate of the Fuerza del Pueblo (FP), after concluding a national tour in which he visited all the provinces of the country and held meetings with more than 700 members of the Central Directorate.
With this support, Morales is consolidating as one of the aspirants with the greatest possibilities of joining the party’s highest governing body. Various national surveys place him within the top 5 of the best-positioned candidates to occupy a seat in the Political Directorate.
“Direct contact with the militants, listening to their concerns and gathering their proposals has been the basis of this political project that seeks to strengthen our organization and contribute to a Force of the People closer to the people,” Morales said after his registration.
The internal elections to choose the new members of the Political Directorate will be held this Sunday, September 14, in the party’s national premises, in a democratic process that will define the course of the organization for the coming years.
With this step, Andy Morales reaffirms his commitment to the ideals of the Fuerza del Pueblo and to the leadership of President Leonel Fernández, betting on a renewal that combines experience with new energies in the leadership of the party.
