Montecristi. – The Dominican Republic Army (ERD) handed over to the authorities of the Public Ministry the driver of a minibus arrested while transporting undocumented Haitian nationals during an operation carried out in the municipality of Guayubín, Montecristi province.
The driver was identified as Christopher Colón Vicente, 31 years old, who was transporting four (04) Haitian nationals in irregular migratory condition aboard a Toyota minibus, Coaster model, white with blue color, license plate I001744.
The driver and the detained vehicle were transferred to the 15th Company, located in the San Fernando Fortress of the 10th Infantry Battalion of the ERD, where they were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry of the province of Montecristi, for the corresponding legal purposes.
