Santo Domingo. – The Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana announced its participation in the 45th edition of the ANATO Tourism Showcase, which will be held from February 25 to 27 at the Corferias fairgrounds in Bogotá, Colombia, where it will develop an extensive agenda of strategic meetings with investors in the tourism and real estate sector.
The institutional delegation will be headed by the executive president of Banreservas, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, who will be accompanied by the senior executive vice president of Business, Ysidro García, and the vice president of Tourist Businesses, Deyanira Pappaterra, forming a high-level team aimed at strengthening the capture of investments and promoting financing opportunities for new developments in the Dominican Republic.
During its participation in ANATO 2026, the entity will hold meetings with hotel developers, investment funds, tourism real estate promoters, international operators, and representatives of airlines, with the aim of presenting the credit facilities, financial structuring, and specialized support offered by the bank for projects related to tourism and tourism-oriented real estate.

The CEO’s agenda will also include several official meetings with Colombian authorities and business people, in order to consolidate commercial relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment in the sector.
Likewise, the delegation will participate in events and activities organized with the Ministry of Tourism, headed by Minister David Collado, in which the main attractions of the country will be promoted to tour operators and key players in the industry, strengthening the image of the Dominican Republic as a competitive, diverse and constantly growing destination.
“Tourism is one of the fundamental pillars of our economy. In this administration, we will continue to promote the vision of the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, to promote Dominican tourism in all international scenarios and, from Banreservas, guarantee the necessary financing to develop the different tourist poles of the country,” Aguilera expressed.
Participation in ANATO 2026 reaffirms Banreservas’ leadership as the main financial ally of the national tourism sector, supporting hotel infrastructure projects, tourism real estate developments, and new initiatives that generate jobs and boost the economy in destinations such as Punta Cana, Miches, Puerto Plata, Santiago, Cabo Rojo, and Santo Domingo.
