Sabana Grande de Boyá.- Pedro Cleto Castro, who repairs shoes, recounted the ordeal he is going through after breaking his arm and suffering several injuries after being hit by a young man who was performing maneuvers calibrating a motorcycle in the middle of Candelaria street in the municipality.
He explained that, as a result of the strong blow, he was unable to work repairing shoes, a trade he depends on to bring daily sustenance to his home, a situation that keeps him going through very difficult times.
This type of accident caused by young people calibrating motorcycles has become commonplace, with 4 reported in less than a month, leaving several people injured, generating concern among residents, especially mothers who fear for the safety of their children when sending them to school.
According to what he narrated, the shoemaker who hit him, whom he claims not to know, only apologized before quickly leaving the scene. Faced with this situation, he called on the authorities to definitively stop this practice and urged young people to become aware to avoid more tragedies.
