INFOTEP promotes debate on artificial intelligence and scientific research

Santo Domingo.- The National Institute for Technical Professional Training (INFOTEP) held a discussion panel focused on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) within scientific research and the challenges posed by its responsible use in the generation of knowledge.

The activity, titled “Research in the age of knowledge and artificial intelligence: a driver of innovation and sustainable development”, brought together specialists and academics to analyze how this technology is transforming research processes and its contribution to sustainable development.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the presentation of the second volume of the journal Avance FTP (Advancement of Technical Professional Training), a publication that brings together research papers and specialized articles on topics related to innovation, education, and scientific development.

During the panel, the participants exchanged ideas on the ethical challenges involved in the use of artificial intelligence, the importance of fostering quality research, and the need to use these tools responsibly to strengthen technical and professional training.
