Santo Domingo.– The president of the People’s Force (FP) party and former president of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernández, will hold a new edition of “The Voice of the People” this Tuesday, June 16, a space in which he converses with media representatives about the main problems affecting the country.
Fernández periodically develops this meeting to refer to situations of high national impact and address issues of interest to the citizenry.
During previous editions, issues such as citizen insecurity, public debt, state indebtedness, and the high cost of living, among other topics of national relevance, have been addressed.
From this space, Fernández made known the corruption scandal of the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant), a case that subsequently led to the prosecution and arrest of several people.

Likewise, in another installment of “The Voice of the People,” the political leader presented the irregularities related to the extension of the contract between Aerodom and the Dominican State. On that occasion, he questioned the receipt of 775 million dollars in advance and denounced that those resources were spent without the planned works being executed.
The most recent edition of “La Voz del Pueblo” took place a month ago, on May 12th. The meeting will be held again this Tuesday, June 16th, at 11:00 in the morning, at the Johnny Ventura People’s House, located at 253 Benito Monción Street, Gascue sector, National District.
As on previous occasions, the president of the Fuerza del Pueblo will answer questions and concerns from the journalists present.
