According to information provided by Peacock and ITV America, Barker suffered a sudden medical emergency that led to his passing. He was 40 years old and was considered a key figure within the production.
His connection with the program began in 2020, when he joined the creative team. Over the seasons, he took on greater responsibilities until he reached the position of executive producer, a role from which he helped define much of the content that reaches the audience.
