Motorcycle taxi driver dies after being shot by a colleague from the taxi stand following a dispute over a passenger
Santo Domingo Norte. – The National Police reported this Thursday the death of motoconcho driver José Osvaldo Silverio Polanco, who was shot during an argument with another motorcycle driver in the La Vieja Barquita sector, in Sabana Perdida.
Silverio Polanco died while receiving medical attention at the Ney Arias Lora Traumatology Hospital, after being injured in a conflict that occurred on May 20, allegedly caused by a dispute over a passenger at a motoconcho stop.
As the alleged perpetrator of the act, Ramón Elías Ureña Hernández, also a motorcycle taxi driver, was identified, who, according to preliminary reports, had a heated discussion with the victim before the assault.
