Santo Domingo. – The National Police reported the arrest of a man identified as the alleged perpetrator of sexual abuse against a 12-year-old teenager, in an incident that occurred in the Guaricano sector, Santo Domingo Norte municipality.
The detainee was identified as “Jesús Manuel Santos Puello”, who was actively sought through arrest warrant No. RAJ-2026-05776, issued by the competent authorities.
According to the information provided by the Dominican National Police, the accused is under investigation for the alleged violation of article 396 of Law 136-03 on the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents, which sanctions physical, sexual, and psychological abuse against minors.
Likewise, he is accused of the alleged violation of article 355 of the Dominican Penal Code, related to the abduction or extraction of minors.

Authorities indicated that the detainee will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes, while investigations into the case continue.
