Protest held in Jarabacoa demanding completion of the court and construction of a cafeteria in the high school

@ennoticiasconsalvadorj Jarabacoa. – The director, along with parents and representatives of the educational community, held a peaceful protest in the municipality of Jarabacoa to demand the prompt completion of the basketball court and the construction of a school cafeteria at the Luis Gómez Uribe High School. The protesters expressed that these works are fundamental for the integral development of the students, since the court will allow to strengthen the sports and recreational activities, while the dining room will guarantee a better nutrition for the students who daily attend the educational center. During the day, the participants highlighted that it is an organized and respectful demonstration, whose sole objective is to draw the attention of the corresponding authorities to expedite the pending works.

Parents and teachers pointed out that the educational community of the Liceo Luis Gómez Uribe maintains the hope that their claims will be heard and that they can soon have adequate facilities for the well-being and education of the students of Jarabacoa. The community reaffirmed its commitment to continue managing solutions for the benefit of education and the future of its youth
