The longest-living woman in the Dominican Republic dies at 115 years old

Puerto Plata. – The community of Punta Rucia, in the municipal district of Estero Hondo, is in mourning for the death of Luz María Sánchez Amézquita, recognized as the longest-lived person in the country. Doña Luz María passed away at her residence at the age of 115, leaving a legacy of strength and example for her family and neighbors. Her long life made her a source of pride for the community, who remember her as a symbol of resilience and wisdom.
