La Romana.- Units of the National Emergency and Security Attention System 911 are assisting injured people after a traffic accident that occurred in the municipality of Villa Hermosa, La Romana province, where a bus was involved.
The entity specified that upon receiving the alert, it activated the corresponding protocols, coordinating the mobilization of 12 ambulances, of which nine correspond to the Directorate of Extrahospital Emergency Care Services (DAEH) and three to Comipol; a unit of the National Police; three units of the Villa Hermosa Fire Department; a unit of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC); and a unit of the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (DIGESETT).
They detailed that the units on site are working in an articulated manner to provide assistance to those affected, ensure safety in the area, and restore traffic flow. The case is ongoing.
