Members of the Regional Intelligence Sub-directorate (DINTEL) of Santo Domingo Norte carried out four raids on the morning of this Tuesday, June 2, 2026, managing to seize firearms, narcotic substances, slot machines, cash, and other items of interest for the investigation.
According to the preliminary report, the operations began around 6:30 in the morning and were carried out in different homes located in the La Victoria, San Felipe de Villa Mella, and La 28 de Villa Mella sectors, in the Santo Domingo Norte municipality, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
During the interventions, four packages of a material presumably cocaine, four pistol-type firearms, three slot machines, two scales of different brands, a chain and a ring presumably made of 14-karat gold, as well as two portions of a substance presumed to be cocaine were seized.

Likewise, the authorities seized a Honda CR-V SUV, several Dominican peso bills of different denominations, and other objects that will be analyzed as part of the investigations.
During the operation, several people were detained for investigation purposes, while one of the owners of the raided homes was not at the location at the time of the intervention.
The raids concluded around 9:30 in the morning. Authorities reported that they will offer more details in an official press release.
