Governor highlights the contribution of rural women in Azua’s inter-community fair

Azua.- The provincial governor, María Minerva Navarro, highlighted the fundamental role of rural women in the economic and social development of the province, during her participation in the Intercommunity Economic, Cultural and Environmental Fair, organized by the Association of Women of Hope and Charity.

The event, held in commemoration of International Rural Women’s Day, will run until October 19 and brings together dozens of entrepreneurs who exhibit organic, artisanal, and artistic products that reflect the cultural richness of their communities. “The rural woman is the productive heart of our province,” said Governor Navarro, while touring the stands and sharing with the exhibitors.

The fair not only seeks to make the work of rural women visible, but also to promote spaces for commercialization, cultural exchange and promotion of sustainable practices.
