Santo Domingo, D.N.- Juan Núñez Nepomuceno received the support of the member associations this Monday morning with 100% of the votes cast for the “Tito Pereyra Slate, Work, Transparency and Consolidation” to continue as president of the Dominican Baseball Federation Inc. (Fedom) for the 2026-2030 period.
The elections were held in a harmonious manner and in frank camaraderie at a hotel in this capital city, where 31 of the 32 member associations were present, who unanimously made the decision to support Juan Núñez to remain at the head of Fedom for four more years.
“Grateful to God and my fellow associates for the support provided today in this elective assembly, we have been unanimously re-elected by that group of colleagues who have accompanied me throughout these seven years, always in favor of this sport that we love so much,” said the head of Fedom.
“Today we feel proud because the member associations valued, and demonstrated as such with the votes received, the work we have been doing at the head of Fedom, a tireless work,” expressed Núñez Nepomuceno.

The electoral commission was composed of William Ozuna, who is the president of the Dominican Weightlifting Federation and served as president of the commission; he was accompanied by Edisson Adames, president of the Association of Sports Journalists of La Vega, as secretary, and Gilberto Garcia, a member of the commission and president of the Dominican Judo Federation, who certified the legality of the voting and proceeded with the swearing-in of Juan Núñez and his executive committee.
The Fedom executive committee is composed, in addition to president Juan Núñez, of Joselito Canó Soriano, first vice president, Roberto Antonio Sánchez Morales, second vice president, the third vice president is Julián Antonio De León, the general secretariat continues with Heriberto Antonio Miranda Then, and Arturo Brito as treasurer.
The secretary of international internal affairs is Bruno Inocencio Terrero Medrano, José Alfonso Sena Gómez is the secretary of organization, also Víctor Enríque Vásquez in the environment secretariat, Mrs. Eligna Raquel Rodríguez Peña de Ortega repeats as secretary of women, and the members are Sandy Lara Pérez, first, Mónica Cecilia Fernández Liz, second, and the third member is Eduardo Rodolfo Phipps Cruz.

The electoral commission also declared the regional vice presidents as winners: Cristian Pimentel (Metropolitan Region), Jorge Francisco Rafael Moreno (Eastern Region), Alnor Teófilo Padilla Taveras (Northern Region), Jesús Antonio Lajara Rosó (Southern Region), and Manuel Antonio Medina Rodríguez (Overseas).
This is the second full term of Juan Núñez as president of the Dominican Baseball Federation Inc. (Fedom), who assumed the position in May 2019 following the passing of Héctor “Tito” Pereyra.
