Santo Domingo.- The president of the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), Federico Antún Batlle (Quique Antún), assured this Wednesday that this organization has never been in favor of state financing for political parties and stated that its goal is to reach power to promote changes in the way politics is conducted in the Dominican Republic.
n” “nThrough a message, Antún maintained that the PRSC has not received resources from illegitimate sources either and questioned sectors that, according to him, have admitted to such practices.
n” “n“For those who are mistaken with their dirty campaign… the PRSC is not chasing 5% for money. We seek power to change the old politics of which we have been a part,” expressed the reformist leader.
n” “nQuique Antún also proposed that political organizations make a commitment to stop receiving public funding in the future.
