Santo Domingo.– The presidential hopeful of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Ramón Ventura Camejo, formally confirmed his participation in RD Debate, the platform for the discussion of ideas and proposals organized by the Economic and Social Development Council of Santo Domingo (CODESSD), whose first meeting will be held on August 23rd.
The confirmation was made through a communication addressed to the president of CODESSD, Samuel Sena, in which Ventura Camejo thanked him for the invitation and expressed his willingness to participate in this space for democratic exchange alongside the other presidential candidates of his political organization.
In the letter, the former Minister of Public Administration pointed out that the debate represents an opportunity to share ideas, concerns, and proposals regarding the main challenges that the Dominican Republic will face starting in 2028.
Ventura Camejo announced that one of the central pillars of his participation will be the need to promote government management based on rationality, efficiency, and institutional quality, as tools to achieve better results in the economic, social, institutional, and citizen security spheres.
Likewise, he explained that a large part of the proposals he will present are based on the experiences accumulated during his career at the Ministry of Public Administration (MAP), the Latin American Center for Development Administration (CLAD), and work spaces linked to the United Nations, in addition to the approaches developed in his work “Expert Knowledge; Cooperation and Quality of Management in the MAP”.

With the addition of Ramón Ventura Camejo, the list of PLD presidential hopefuls who have confirmed their presence at RD Debate continues to grow, an initiative that seeks to promote the exchange of proposals and visions for the country among Dominican political leaders.
RD Debate is a platform promoted by CODESSD with the goal of strengthening democratic culture, fostering the discussion of ideas, and bringing the proposals of those who aspire to lead the nation’s destiny closer to the citizenry.
