Las Terrenas, Samaná. – The lawyer and public servant Raylian Adames Hidalgo, 28 years old, was appointed as the new director of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources office in this tourist municipality, with the aim of strengthening the protection of natural resources, environmental management, and promoting a vision of sustainable development in line with the growth of the destination.
Adames Hidalgo holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). In addition, he has a diploma in Comprehensive Solid Waste Management, also from UNPHU, which complements his legal training with technical skills in environmental matters.
Likewise, she has participated in the Sustainability Leadership Program at Barna Management School and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Senior Public Management at the Ortega y Marañón University Research Institute (FOM), in Madrid, Spain, strengthening her profile in public management and policy formulation.
From this position, you will be in charge of coordinating environmental conservation actions, overseeing compliance with regulations, responsible waste management, environmental education, and coordination with local authorities, the Executive Branch, the private sector, and communities.
