Santo Domingo.– Two of the people who were injured during the violent incident that occurred last Wednesday in the Dorado IV condominium, in the Ensanche Naco sector, remain in serious condition, according to the Minister of Public Health, Víctor Atallah.

“The health condition of some is of a certain severity. There is one who has a few serious injuries, who was the first; the others are a little more stable, but there are two of them who have a condition of severity”, said the minister when approached by the press during the wake of Ivonne Handal, 70 years old, who died in the same event.
The injured women were identified as Teresa Fabián Heredia (caretaker of the deceased victim), Griselda Ozuna, 48 years old, and Victoria Heredia, 36 years old. Guillermo Pumarol, 62 years old, the aggressor’s father, and Francisco Texano, a resident of the residential complex, were also injured. The aggressor was identified as Jean Andrés Pumarol Fernández, 30 years old, who, according to his family, suffers from a mental health condition. He is currently held in a medical center in the National District, under observation and medical evaluations requested by the Public Ministry. The National Police spokesman, Diego Pesqueira, confirmed that the young man is under specialized medical attention while the investigation process advances.
