A 22-year-old man died this Saturday morning after presenting serious health complications that, preliminarily, would presumably be linked to the prolonged use of electronic devices such as vapers and hookahs.
The deceased was identified as Frank Sosa, a resident of the Puerto Rico sector, in the municipality of Hato Mayor. According to information obtained, the young man had been admitted to a health center for several days, where he was receiving medical attention after suffering a pulmonary collapse, a condition that progressively worsened until it caused his death.

Although medical authorities have not yet issued a definitive report, preliminary versions indicate that the deterioration of his health would be related to the excessive use of these devices, whose impact on the respiratory system continues to be the subject of warnings by specialists.

Club Deportivo y Cultural Marcelino Vega (Villa Canto), where he participated in categories such as Minibasket, Infantil and U16, standing out for his discipline and camaraderie on and off the court.
