The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Tuesday, July 7, as follows:

Financial institutions present a purchase rate of RD$67.35 and a sale rate of RD$69.38.

For their part, remittance and exchange agents are operating with a purchase rate of RD$65.81 and a sale rate of RD$70.08.

The foreign exchange market in the Dominican Republic shows a strengthening trend for the local currency against the euro at the beginning of the second half of the year.

The most relevant data for economic analysts is the accumulated appreciation that the Dominican peso has gained against the euro since the end of 2025.

In the exchange agent sector, the peso has appreciated by 10.14% in buying and 9.58% in selling compared to the close of 2025, when the euro was trading at RD$72.48 and RD$76.79 respectively.

In the financial entities sector, the trend is similar, with an appreciation of the peso of 8.70% (buy) and 8.50% (sell) compared to the close of the previous year.
