Actor and presenter Julián Gil surprised his followers by revealing that he remarried his wife, Valeria Marín, as part of a special celebration for his birthday.
Through his social media, Gil shared that the idea came up when he asked Marín what she wanted as a birthday gift. As he recounted, she replied that any gesture would be well received, to which he proposed getting married again. The spontaneous idea ended up becoming a reality and the couple celebrated a new ceremony at a wedding “drive-thru” in Las Vegas.
The actor recalled that both had already gotten married previously surrounded by family and friends, but assured that they enjoyed that experience so much that they decided to repeat it in a more fun and spontaneous way.
Beyond the peculiar renewal of their vows, Gil highlighted that the focus of the occasion was to celebrate his wife’s birthday. In an emotional message, he thanked Marín for accompanying him through every stage of his life, describing her as his partner, accomplice, and the person who continues to support all his whims, even those that include walking down the aisle again.
“I would choose you a thousand times over. I would marry you a thousand times over,” expressed the actor, who also joked about the possibility of turning this tradition into a “world wedding tour,” although he noted that it would be better to go “year by year,” he added.
