Jerusalem.- At least 100 Gazans died on Tuesday in Israeli attacks along the Gaza Strip and more than 500 were injured, the Ministry of Health of the enclave reported this Wednesday in its daily count.

“Several victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams cannot reach them at this time”, clarified the Hamas Government Ministry. Yesterday’s attacks were concentrated in the northern area of the enclave, especially in Gaza City, but bombings were also recorded in the Bureij refugee camp, in the center, and in the southern city of Khan Yunis, according to local sources. At least five more people died from fire from Israeli forces near humanitarian aid distribution points, bringing the total number of deaths at those sites, managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), to more than 1,026. The Israeli army claimed this Wednesday to have attacked about “120 targets” in the last day, according to a military statement, and dismantled “dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites” in the south of the enclave. Since the start of the Israeli military offensive on October 7, 2023, at least 59,219 Gazans have died and another 143,045 have been injured, according to figures from local health authorities. Adding to these numbers are those who die of starvation. In total, since the beginning of the war, at least 111 Gazans have died of starvation and malnutrition, including 80 children.
