Madrid.- The Spanish Royal Household expressed its solidarity and support to Colombia this Tuesday following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck the country and caused at least 132 deaths.
In a message on the social network X, the Royal Household states that it accompanies “with all its heart those who have lost a loved one and all the people affected by the earthquake”.

“Our thoughts are also with the missing persons, including 164 Spaniards who have not yet been located, with the hope that all of them can be found as soon as possible,” the message adds.
In addition, sources from the Royal Household reported that Felipe VI sent a telegram to the Colombian president, Abelardo de la Espriella, in which, together with Queen Letizia, he conveyed his “most sincere and heartfelt condolences and the wish for a speedy and full recovery of the injured,” as well as his support for the authorities in facing the reconstruction tasks.
