A Florida mother and her 22-year-old son admitted to having a years-long sexual relationship that was discovered after police responded to their home for a domestic violence complaint.
Christina Clemens, 46, of Lakeland, called police and reported that her son, Shane Clemens, had struck her, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
During the investigation, Shane told authorities that he had been having a sexual relationship with his mother since he was 18. When investigators asked Christina whether she had been having sex with her son since that time, she allegedly replied, “only about 100 times,” according to Judd.
Investigators later contacted Christina’s husband, who said he was unaware of the relationship and “absolutely was not” aware that his wife and son were having sex. He told detectives he had become somewhat suspicious because the two would sometimes go into the master bedroom and lock the door.

Christina was charged with one count of incest and one count of living in open adultery. She was being held on $5,250 bond, according to records.
Shane was charged with one count of incest and one count of domestic violence battery, touch or strike, and was being held without bond.
The allegations and statements were reported by authorities and remain part of the criminal case.
