New York.– The American company Tiffany & Co. unveiled the official trophies for the 2026 US Open, as part of a collaboration with the tennis tournament that began in 1987 and is approaching four decades.

The trophies that the tournament champions will receive are handcrafted by artisans from the jewelry house, which is once again in charge of producing the pieces that will be awarded to the winners of the competition’s various categories.

The US Open brings together players from the international circuit in New York every year and constitutes the last of the four Grand Slam tournaments on the calendar.

An alliance that began in 1987

The relationship between Tiffany & Co. and the US Open dates back to 1987. Since then, the company has participated in the creation of the trophies awarded during the competition.

Each piece goes through an artisanal process that includes different goldsmithing techniques. In addition, the winners’ names are engraved using traditional methods at the firm’s workshop located in Rhode Island. The cups for the individual men’s and women’s categories are part of the trophies made for the tournament.

Exhibition for US Open attendees

For the 2026 edition, Tiffany & Co. installed a temporary space at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the complex where the US Open takes place, allowing visitors to learn details about the history of the trophies, observe pieces from previous editions, and get a closer look at the process used for their creation.

Sketches and blueprints related to the design and creation of the cups are also on display.

The space incorporates Tiffany Blue, a color associated with the company’s visual identity, and features an area designated for photos for fans attending the tournament.

The exhibition will be available from August 23rd to September 13th in the vicinity of Fountain Plaza, within the sports complex.
