Santo Domingo.- The Public Ministry reported the seizure of cash, motor vehicles, electronic equipment, financial documents, and valuable goods during the raids carried out as part of the investigation known as COBRA 2.0-A, directed against a structure that, according to the accusation, allegedly defrauded the National Health Insurance (SENASA).
Among the seized assets is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner watch, in addition to an Apple Watch Ultra, found during the raid carried out at the residence of physician Einstein Rafael Borromé Valdez. Also seized at that location were US$2,500 in cash, a laptop, and medical and financial documents.
The file also records cash in Dominican pesos and dollars in the possession of several individuals under investigation. Among the amounts listed by the Public Ministry are RD$33,000 seized from Edwin Alberto Batista Cruz; RD$104,250 and US$123 from Yocaira Antonia Méndez Beltré; RD$15,000 from Guillermo Enrique Diclo Garabito; and RD$6,700, RD$3,000, RD$23,000 and RD$218,000, in addition to US$670, seized from Wander Manuel Díaz Encarnación.

The file also includes an extensive list of seized vehicles. Among them are a Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4WD, a Kia Sportage, a Chevrolet Equinox, a Honda Civic, a Kia Sportage Luxury, a Nissan, a Toyota 4Runner, a Honda CR-V, two Ford vehicles, and a Volkswagen ID 4 Crozz Pure RWD.
In addition to the vehicles and money, the investigators seized computers, cell phones, and banking and asset documentation. In one of the raids, deposit certificates, transfer receipts, account statements, corporate documents, title certificates, rental contracts, and deeds related to real estate were found.

The Public Ministry maintains that these assets are part of the evidence collected in an investigation for alleged fraud against the State, money laundering, and related illicit activities. The request for a coercive measure identifies the Dominican State and the National Health Insurance as victims and notes that the investigation continues regarding others involved.
