The construction of the overpass is part of the set of infrastructure projects financed thanks to the resources obtained through the renegotiation of the concession contract of Aerodom with the Dominican State, which has allowed the allocation of additional funds to strategic initiatives to improve connectivity in Santo Domingo and other areas of the country.“Tonight I stopped at the construction of the overpass on the Prolongación 27 de Febrero with Isabel Aguiar to personally supervise the progress of this important work. We continue working, intensely, to modernize the road infrastructure and improve the mobility of Dominicans,” said the president.

The Government highlighted that this work will have a direct impact on reducing congestion at one of the busiest intersections in the capital, benefiting thousands of drivers and citizens who travel through this point daily.
