Lisbon, Portugal. – Deputy Patricia Núñez participated in the First Dominican Republic–Portugal Business Meeting, held in Lisbon, in her capacity as president of the Dominican-Portuguese Parliamentary Group, along with a commission of deputies, representing the Dominican Republic in this important international setting.
The meeting aimed to strengthen institutional relations, boost investment, foster bilateral trade, and promote strategic alliances that contribute to the country’s economic and social development.
During the day, the Dominican Republic was highlighted as a country with institutional stability, legal security, and a favorable climate for investment, with opportunities in key sectors such as trade, tourism, infrastructure, energy, connectivity, and agribusiness.
Representative Patricia Núñez thanked Ambassador Patricia Villegas de Jorge for her leadership and for fostering this space for dialogue, cooperation, and rapprochement between both nations.
