Criminals vandalize and rob a business in Plaza Juan Pablo Duarte in SFM

Macorís. – Citizen insecurity continues to hit the commercial sector of this city. On this occasion, people unknown until now broke into the business “Tienda Peralta“, owned by the merchant Jorge Peralta, located in Plaza Juan Pablo Duarte, during the night, from where they took various merchandise and caused damage. According to Mr. Peralta’s statements, the wrongdoers broke the glass of one of the doors to access the premises. Once inside, they ransacked the establishment and stole a considerable amount of merchandise.

Although the final inventory is still being carried out to determine the total damage, the owner preliminarily estimated that the value of the stolen items and material damage amounts to a figure close to $90,000 or $100,000 Dominican pesos.
