María Trinidad Sánchez.- Authorities are investigating the death of a 28-year-old woman, whose body was found this Thursday morning in the vicinity of the La Boca de Arroyo Salado river, in the La Entrada municipal district, Cabrera municipality.
The victim was identified as Giselle Jiménez, who, according to preliminary reports, had fatal wounds to her neck.
According to initial investigations, the main suspect in the incident is her former romantic partner, identified only as Jovanny, who fled the scene and remains at large.

The National Police reported that they are maintaining an operation to locate the man, while the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the corresponding agencies continue the investigations to clarify the circumstances of the case.
The incident is being treated preliminarily as an alleged femicide and has caused dismay among residents of the Arroyo Salado community, who hope that the person responsible is located and brought to justice.
