San Pedro de Macorís.– The lifeless body of Jonathan Bautista was recovered this Friday, the young man who remained missing following the incident that occurred in the waters of the Higuamo River, where he was riding a jet ski.
Bautista had been reported missing since he went sailing with Nashla Griffith, whose body was previously located by rescue teams participating in the search operation.
After several hours of work, members of the relief agencies managed to locate and recover the young man’s body in the Higuamo River area, putting an end to the search that had kept family and friends on alert.
The operation involved brigades from the Civil Defense, the Dominican Republic Navy, and other emergency teams, who searched various points in the area to locate Bautista.
The incident occurred while both young people were riding a jet ski, a situation that subsequently led to them being reported as missing.
