Bogotá .- Karol G, Miguel Bosé, Sebastián Yatra, Draco Rosa and Silvestre Dangond, along with other artists, will offer a charity concert on August 23 in Bogotá to raise funds for those affected by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia on Monday.
“The music industry in Colombia decided to unite behind a single purpose: to donate their work to help in the reconstruction of the most affected areas and contribute so that families who lost their homes can have a roof again and begin to rebuild their lives,” detailed the organizers of the concert that will take place at the Vive Claro venue, the largest in Colombia.
The total amount of contributions made at the concert, titled ‘Voices for Life’, will be donated to Presentes Corporación to support reconstruction efforts in the areas most affected by the earthquake, which has already left more than two hundred dead.
The lineup artists
The list of confirmed artists is extensive, which also includes Grupo Niche, Nanpa Básico, Andrés Cepeda, Beéle, Bonka, Daniel Habif, Eladio Carrión, Galy Galiano, Hamilton, Juan Duque, Juliana, Laura Pérez, Maisak, Manú, Manuel Medrano, Pedro Capó, and Timo.
The event organization specified that the participation of the Colombian artist Karol G will be via ‘livestream’ and will be in collaboration with her Con Cora Foundation, dedicated to empowering women and communities in vulnerable situations.

The public will be able to make donations starting at 100,000 Colombian pesos (about 32 dollars) to Presentes Corporación, which includes the ticket to attend the show ‘Colombia: Voices for Life’.
“National and international artists, concert promoters, producers, media, brands, suppliers, technicians, and hundreds of people behind the shows decided to stand on the same side and contribute what they know how to do to the same cause, putting their work and resources at the service of this initiative without charging fees or direct costs,” the promoters indicated.
