Santo Domingo.- The university community expresses its confidence in a proposal based on integration, institutional strengthening, and the collective construction of the Faculty’s future.
The community of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FCES) actively participated in an electoral day characterized by democratic commitment, responsible participation, and the interest in continuing to strengthen the institutional life of the Faculty.
According to the official results of the process, the candidacy led by Maribel Lorenzo obtained 48% of the votes cast, positioning itself as the proposal with the most support among those presented in these elections.
Election results: Maribel Lorenzo: 48.00%; Edita Rodríguez: 29.08%; Aldelys Rodríguez: 21.85%.
These results reflect the trust placed by students, faculty, administrative staff, and other members of the university community in a vision oriented toward the continuity of institutional progress, academic strengthening, and the promotion of spaces for dialogue and participation.

After the results were known, it was highlighted that this support transcends electoral figures and represents an expression of hope, commitment, and a collective will to continue building a more solid and inclusive faculty.

Likewise, the participation of the other candidacies was recognized, valuing their contribution to the strengthening of university democracy and the enrichment of the debate of ideas for the benefit of the FCES.
The election day leaves as its main message that active participation strengthens academic institutionalism and reaffirms that dialogue, plurality, and collaborative work continue to be fundamental pillars for the development of the Faculty.
In this context, a call was made to maintain unity and to continue adding capabilities, experiences, and willpower to face the challenges and opportunities that will mark the next institutional period.
