Santo Domingo.– Communicator and fashion producer Marielle Araujo highlighted the identity-focused nature of the fourth edition of Fashion Freak Fest, which is being held this Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo Hotel, under the concept “Maison Caribe”.

Araujo explained that this edition of the event seeks to pay tribute to the cultural essence of the Caribbean and, in particular, to the Dominican identity through fashion and creativity.

“We are extremely happy. This dream has come true; it is the fourth edition of Fashion Freak Fest. This year’s theme, Maison Caribe, is an ode to the Caribbean, to everything that characterizes us as Dominicans: our origins, our heritage. Here, 20 designers are presenting, many of them inspired by our tourist destinations, our stories, our nostalgia, in good Dominican fashion,” they expressed to De Último Minuto.

The concept of this edition brings together 20 national and international designers in a program that includes fashion shows, activations, and educational spaces, with a vision that, according to the organizer, connects fashion with memory, territory, and cultural identity.
