La Romana, DR. — The mayor of La Romana, Eduardo Kery Métivier, received the former president of Guatemala, Jimmy Morales, during an institutional meeting in which proposals for cooperation and investment aimed at promoting urban modernization and sustainable development projects in the municipality were presented.
The purpose of the meeting was the official presentation of ABG, a Guatemalan company specializing in street furniture, outdoor advertising, and comprehensive solutions for cities, with the interest of exploring investment and cooperation opportunities that promote the modernization of urban infrastructure and the sustainable development of the municipality.
During the meeting, various topics of interest to La Romana were analyzed, including the development of urban furniture projects, outdoor and digital advertising, public-private partnerships, urban mobility, revitalization of public spaces, and the modernization of the urban image, initiatives conceived to strengthen orderly growth and improve the quality of life for citizens.

The delegation was composed of Alex González, CEO of ABG; former President Jimmy Morales; legal advisors Josué Rivera and Esther Ochoa; as well as Gabriel Bobea, a partner of the consortium.
A decisive role in the realization of this important institutional approach was played by the prominent lawyer Amerikana Pujol, who served as a liaison and manager of the meeting, facilitating dialogue between the parties and fostering an exchange space oriented towards the construction of future strategic alliances for the benefit of the development of La Romana.
