MICM brings the Mipymes Route to San Pedro de Macorís

With the purpose of stimulating the local economy and boosting the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the region, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) announced the holding of the MSME Route in San Pedro de Macorís on August 7, 8, and 9.

The activity will take place on the esplanade of the San Pedro Apóstol Cathedral, in San Pedro de Macorís, from 9:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, with broad participation from entrepreneurs, business owners, and institutions related to the sector.

Minister Yayo Sanz Lovatón invites entrepreneurs and business owners from the province and surrounding areas, as well as the general public, to participate in this Mipymes Route event to take advantage of business and professional development opportunities.

The Mipymes Route will be a space for business matchmaking, networking, with an extensive program of financial consulting, business formalization, technical assistance, talks, conferences, and training designed to strengthen the capabilities of MSMEs.

As part of the day, a craft bazaar will be held with the participation of MSMEs, where attendees will be able to visit dozens of stands with a varied offer of products and services, in addition to cultural exhibitions and live music. All event activities will be free of charge.

About the Mipymes Route

The Mipymes Route is an initiative of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM) that is carried out through the Vice Ministry for Mipymes Development, with the purpose of bringing to rural communities the multiple support services for the Mipymes sector offered by the different institutions that have programs for the promotion and support of the sector.

This event is held with the purpose of complying with the guidelines of President Luis Abinader to continue bringing information and services from Government institutions in charge of promoting the entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurship in the different national guilds and productive sectors to every corner of the country.
