Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Republic is preparing to experience a historic event with the arrival of the Rumba y Calle Fest, the first festival that will tour the country’s provinces, bringing the power of the urban movement directly to its people. The tour will begin on October 31, 2025, in Yamasá and will extend throughout the month of November, with the purpose of transforming entertainment outside the capital. This festival represents a novel proposal in the country: an international-level production that offers real opportunities to local artists who usually do not have access to professional stages. In a context where large shows are usually reserved for international figures, Rumba y Calle Fest emerges as an authentic alternative for the development of Dominican talent, bringing culture, music, and hope to every corner of the national territory.

An explosive poster and an unprecedented production

The first edition of the festival will feature a prominent cast headed by El Mayor Clásico, La Perversa, Lil Naay, La Baby, Jezzy El Chef and Joyzyzz, along with the renowned DJs Puyalo Pantera and DJ Víctor. In addition, surprise guests will be added at each stop of the tour, guaranteeing a different and vibrant experience in each province. The production has confirmed that the artists will present brand new shows, with live bands, special guests, and exclusive performances designed especially for this event. Each presentation will offer a show of high visual and sound impact, with state-of-the-art technology and a staging at the level of major international festivals. A historic tour that reaches where a festival has never reached before Rumba y Calle Fest will mark a before and after in urban concerts in the Dominican Republic, bringing quality entertainment to the least served regions and celebrating the talent that is born from every corner of the country. The initiative seeks to bring music to the people, recognizing the cultural importance of the urban genre and its ability to unite communities through the rhythm and energy of the street. The overall production is handled by Mapa Negro S.R.L. and the international company 7th Stage, recognized for its innovation, high standards of excellence, and extensive experience in large-format events.
