“Migrants” will premiere on Saturday, September 6th at 9:00 PM, on Telesistema, channel 11, and will be broadcast during the months of September, October, and November. The program will be hosted by journalist Millizen Uribe, under the general production of Gelen Gil.

Santo Domingo. – The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, participated this Wednesday in the launch of the new television project “Migrants”, a proposal that seeks to make visible the positive impact of migrant communities in Dominican society.
During the event, the president highlighted the relevance of this initiative for the strengthening of national identity, recognizing the cultural diversity that migrants have contributed throughout the country’s history.
“This is an excellent initiative, we support it. The Corripio family also promotes a museum to highlight and recognize the population that has enriched Dominican culture in all areas and driven the development of our country. I congratulate you and hope that many more seasons come,” expressed Abinader.
The president also shared that his own family is the result of a combination of migratory roots, a reflection of the cultural richness that characterizes the Dominican Republic.
