Los Alcarrizos.- Hundreds of mothers from different sectors of Los Alcarrizos were honored by councilman Víctor Jiménez during the activity “Once again, with love for mom”, a celebration held in Los Alcarrizos on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
During the day, the attendees participated in raffles and received various household items, including refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, irons, coffee makers, and other items intended to contribute to the well-being of their families.
The activity took place in an atmosphere of joy and integration, bringing together women from different communities in the municipality who shared an afternoon especially dedicated to recognizing the fundamental role that mothers play in society.
One of the most emotional moments of the celebration occurred when a group of mariachis performed the song ¿Cómo te pago? (How do I repay you?), while Jiménez held his mother’s hands.
Addressing the attendees, the councilman highlighted the sacrifice, dedication, and strength that characterize Dominican mothers, while reaffirming his commitment to continue promoting initiatives for the benefit of the families of Los Alcarrizos.

“Today we gather to thank those who have dedicated their lives to caring for, educating, and accompanying their children. You are an example of love, resilience, and commitment, and you deserve all our recognition,” he/she expressed.
Jiménez concluded his words by highlighting the incomparable value of mothers in building a better society.

“Mothers are the beings that most resemble God, because they have the privilege of giving life and possess a love capable of giving everything without expecting anything in return. They are the strength that sustains our homes and the example that guides our families. That is why they deserve to be celebrated every day,” he stated.
The councilman also thanked the collaborators, community leaders, friends, and members of his work team who contributed to the realization of the activity, highlighting that these types of initiatives are possible thanks to the commitment of the people with whom he shares the purpose of serving.
The activity featured the participation of community leaders, collaborators, and residents from different sectors of the municipality, who joined this initiative conceived to recognize and thank the invaluable contribution of the mothers from Los Alcarrizos.
