Woman allegedly poisoned to death by her partner in a cabin in Baní

Baní, Peravia.– A 29-year-old woman allegedly died after being poisoned by her partner in an incident that occurred at a cabin in the municipality of Baní, Peravia province.

The victim was identified as Paola Lara Martínez, whose lifeless body was found by authorities in one of the rooms of the Ternura cabin, located in that area.

According to preliminary reports, the alleged perpetrator is Neris Alexander Ciprián Gross, 31 years old, who also allegedly ingested the same toxic substance used in the incident. He is currently receiving medical attention at a local health center under the supervision of the authorities.

Members of the National Police and the Public Ministry arrived at the scene to carry out the removal of the body and initiate the corresponding investigations, with the aim of clarifying the circumstances in which the tragedy occurred.

So far, the authorities have not provided further details regarding the type of substance ingested or the motives that may have triggered the event.

The case has generated dismay among relatives and residents of the area, while investigative agencies continue to collect evidence to determine the corresponding responsibilities.
