Chancellor Roberto Álvarez meets with Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s Foreign Minister Roberto Álvarez is currently meeting with Kenya’s Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX).

In the meeting, they have scheduled to address issues of bilateral interest. The visit marks the beginning of a work agenda that seeks to strengthen ties between the Dominican Republic and the African nation.

Mudavadi arrived in the country and was received by the Deputy Minister of Bilateral Foreign Policy, Francisco Caraballo, and the Director of State Ceremonial and Protocol, Francisco Cantizano Nadal.

Kenya and the Dominican Republic plan to sign an agreement for the Caribbean country to support Kenyan police officers who are part of the Multinational Security Support (MSS) Mission in Haiti, led by the African nation, the Kenyan government announced this Sunday.

The Kenyan official will be received by President Abinader on the 13th of this month.
