DNCD captures man in the municipality of Cotuí; he is accused of international drug trafficking

Santo Domingo.– Agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and members of the Public Ministry, supported by the United States Marshals Service, arrested a man in the municipality of Cotuí, Sánchez Ramírez province, accused of drug trafficking in the United States.

It is the Dominican Rafael Antonio Castro Facenda, who was apprehended during a search and capture operation on Colón Street in the aforementioned municipality.

His arrest is due to an order issued by the Supreme Court of Justice for the purposes of extradition to the United States.

Castro Facenda is under the control of the Public Ministry to begin the corresponding proceedings against him in the coming hours.
