The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Dominican Republic remains closed and calm after the attack by the United States on South American territory, in which Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were arrested. In the vicinity of the facilities, there is a slight police presence, with no crowds of people. The diplomatic delegation informed in September 2025 that it was resuming service only by prior appointment and scheduled for consular procedures, after more than a year with consular services completely suspended in the country.
