Group of undocumented immigrants found hidden in a banana washing facility in Montecristi

Montecristi. During a patrol carried out by members of the Army in the Carcadillo sector of the Caída community in Montecristi, 09 undocumented Haitians were discovered hidden in a banana washing area. Foreigners in an irregular migratory condition, including 06 men and 03 women, were taken to that place by a man known as Coco, who would be in charge of handing over the undocumented to drivers who would transport them in vehicles, according to reports. The group of undocumented immigrants was transferred to the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Brigade of the ERD, and will be handed over to the authorities of the General Directorate of Migration.
