INTERPOL issues Yellow Alert for the disappearance of Brianna Genao in Puerto Plata

Santo Domingo.– The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) issued a Yellow Notice for the disappearance of the minor Brianna Genao, reported missing since December 31, 2025 in the municipality of Barrero, province Imbert, Puerto Plata. The notification aims to reinforce the location of the girl internationally, activating the cooperation mechanisms between the police authorities of the member countries of INTERPOL. With this alert, the aim is to facilitate the exchange of information that contributes to her search, identification, and protection of her integrity, given the possibility that she has been moved outside the national territory.

The Yellow Notice is used by INTERPOL to help locate missing persons, especially minors, and to identify people who cannot identify themselves. Dominican authorities continue the corresponding investigations and urge citizens to collaborate with any information that may be useful in finding the whereabouts of the minor, through the official channels of the National Police and the INTERPOL system.
