La Romana.- A man identified as Doriane Lee Francis García, 34 years old, was found dead in the Reparto Torres de Villa Hermosa sector, behind the Juan Bosch school, in an event initially reported as a traffic accident. The body was located near a model 70 motorcycle, which initially suggested a skid.

During the investigation, the medical examiner Benito Kelly reported that, according to what members of the DIGESETT and the Accidents department told him, there were elements at the scene that did not fully match the dynamics of a collision. According to his words, the agents indicated that the position of the body and certain evidence raised doubts about whether it was really an accident or a possible homicide.

The diagnosis issued by Dr. Kelly established that the preliminary cause of death corresponds to severe multiple blunt traumas, a condition that, as he explained, warrants a more in-depth analysis to determine the exact origin of the injuries.

For that reason, the body of Doriane Lee Francis García was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), where specialized studies will be carried out to determine whether the death occurred as a result of a traffic event or if it was linked to a criminal act. Investigations continue under the responsibility of the Dicrim, while no hypothesis has been ruled out by the authorities.
