Santo Domingo.– Two months after the tragedy that shocked the country, the Justice Jet Set Movement announced the holding of an academic and legal panel in which experts will debate the scope of criminal liability in the judicial process derived from the case.
Under the title “The boundary between guilt and eventual intent: a criminal and social look at the Jet Set case”, the activity will bring together professionals from different disciplines to examine the evidence, legal criteria, and technical factors surrounding the investigation.
The meeting is scheduled for next June 10th, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the National Police auditorium, located at the Higher Police Institute of Education (IPES), in Santo Domingo.
During the session, topics related to criminal law, forensic psychology, structural analysis, and institutional mechanisms linked to the case will be addressed. Likewise, the arguments that could influence the legal classification of the facts and the determination of potential liabilities will be discussed.

The organizers pointed out that the goal is to promote a discussion based on technical and legal criteria, as well as to generate a space for reflection on the social and legal consequences left by one of the most shocking cases of recent years in the Dominican Republic.
The activity will be open to the public interested in learning about the different perspectives surrounding the judicial process and the debate on the application of concepts such as guilt and eventual intent in the Dominican penal system.
