San Francisco de Macorís. The Permanent Attention Services Office of San Francisco de Macorís postponed the knowledge of the coercion measure request against Ankelsy Valerio de Jesús, 22 years old, accused of killing her 13-year-old sister during a discussion, to Monday, February 3, at 11:00 in the morning. As explained by the defendant’s lawyer, Freddy Faña, the hearing was postponed because the court had not summoned the people who reported the incident nor those who were constituted as victims within the judicial process, which is why the conditions were not met to hear the request on the scheduled date. The jurist maintained that the defense was prepared for the knowledge of the measure, assuring that they have the necessary elements to support their version of the facts. You may be interested in: Couple of murdered teenager’s sister denies responsibility and claims the crime was premeditated

According to the version offered by the accused, the shots were aimed at her brother-in-law, and accidentally her sister was hit, which caused her death. During the scene investigation, members of the Scientific Police collected several 9-millimeter shell casings, as well as three bladed weapons, which are part of the evidence incorporated into the investigation.
