Santo Domingo Este.— Through a complaint spread in a video, citizens reported the sighting of alleged deer inside the Villa Panamericana, specifically in the residential Villas del Mar Caribe, Bisonó buildings, a fact that has generated surprise and concern among the residents of the sector.
In the images, the animals are seen wandering among the apartment blocks, seemingly disoriented, in a completely urban environment. The situation took a more worrying turn after the whistleblower warned that indolent people in the area had expressed intentions to hunt the animals, which represents a direct threat against their life and constitutes a possible violation of current environmental laws.Faced with this situation, residents made an urgent call to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, as well as to the National Environmental Protection Service (SENPA), to intervene immediately and establish surveillance in the Villas del Mar Caribe residential complex, with the aim of protecting animals and preventing acts of cruelty or illegal hunting.
